CHARACTERISTICS & APPLICATION
Coconut oil is obtained by cold-pressing the flesh of the coconut. At room temperature, coconut oil has a solid, buttery consistency. At temperatures above 20°C, it becomes liquid and oily. This property is important for storage and use: In summer, it can be stored in a bottle and dispensed with a dropper; in winter, the container must be heated in a water bath or the coconut oil must be transferred to a larger, sterile container with a lid and dispensed with a spoon. Coconut oil ensures beautiful, supple, and soft skin and is ideal as a makeup remover and after-shower moisturizer.

APPLICATION & PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Hair lossMix coconut oil with lavender, rosemary, thyme, and cedar essential oils; apply to the areas affected by hair loss three times a day (or before bedtime) and massage in gently. Combined with these essential oils, coconut oil promotes cell regeneration. It also helps regulate scalp sebum production, which is responsible for dandruff.
Makeup remover:Apply a small amount to a cotton ball.
Stretch marksCoconut oil is excellent for cleansing and caring for damaged skin, and is therefore helpful for stretch marks.
Sun protection: The protection factor is not very high, but can be compared to SPF 4.
Antiseptic: In case of scratches and cuts, coconut oil forms a thin protective layer on the wound and accelerates wound healing by repairing the damaged tissue.
Insect bites: Coconut oil can relieve the itching and burning of insect bites and speed up the healing process.
